Catching Up

It was so great catching up with my friend Alex these past couple of days. We did some major shopping (not buying!), watched some of our favorite comedians (Brian Regan and Brad Stein anyone?!), and ate some amazing food (mmm...Mexican yumminess!). I really loved every minute we got to hang out together :)
We did have some weird experiences, though. We came out of an antique store downtown and this guy (who was wearing a sportcoat) stopped us to ask for some spare change for bus fare. He said that the bus dropped him off downtown and that he was really embarrased but that he spent most of his money on lunch and only had 33 cents and needed more for the bus. We told him we didn't have any. There was another guy standing against the wall also, we didn't know if they knew each other, or if they were just randomly both standing there. Then we went into another store and heard sirens and when we walked out the ambulance was coming down the street and one of the men from outside the store was lying on the ground. It was the man that we didn't speak too. The other man was just standing there. We couldn't get very close so I don't know what was wrong or what happened. All I know is that the guy that was asking for change stood there for a few minutes and then walked away down the sidewalk. It was sort of scary...I don't know if his story sounded very legitimate, but it makes me scared that the guy he was standing by ended up being taken away in an ambulance. Maybe I've been watching too many cop shows...

On a happier note, we had so much fun taking pictures today! We went across our apartment building to where you can see a bridge in the background. The lighting was cool and I got to practice some shots on Alex. I love having models to take pictures of! Especially gorgeous models like Alex! :) She got some of me too, of course and it's definitely time for picture overload ;)!! haha

Love you lovlies, have a happy Tuesday!
God Bless,
KJA
