Riddle Me This:

How does one get bird poop out of a 60 year old wool sweater that belonged to her grandmother? Sigh.....What a 'crappy' day, har har. I went to take pictures in the park where I've gone a few times. It was so much different without the snow. There were branches sticking up everywhere so it was very hard to walk. I took some pictures, and then after the last one I noticed that there was something on my arm-A stupid bird had gotten me while I was standing under a tree!! :P It wouldn't be so upsetting if it hadn't ruined my grandmother's sweater. I've been waiting to wear this sweater since last summer when I got it. I didn't know how to style it up, and it had a few tiny holes in it, but it was still wearable. I finally take it out of the house and look what happens! Maybe it can be dry cleaned...

The weather sure is doing crazy things-I'm glad I took pictures when I did because as soon as I was done a little freezing rain started up. brrr! Now I'm just putting off doing the dishes as long as possible. They're kind of never-ending.
Hope your day is filled with clean shirts and sun-the opposite of my day! :)
God Bless,
KJA

What a strange day for weather! When I woke up this morning there was a thick blanket of white snow covering everything. As the day wore on for just a few hours the sun melted almost every last flake of the stuff! When the sun comes out it feels wonderful and warm, but the wind is still in the mix, which means I have watery-eyed pictures again...meh. Maybe I should start taking pictures inside until it gets warmer!

Not much to say today. I had today off so I did the dishes, made some lunch and ran a few errands. I went to the grocery store, but I think by the end of the day I will have to go back because out of my list of maybe 4 things of course I forgot something, haha. oooooh well :)

Have a sunny Tuesday Lovelies :D

Psalm 3:5
I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.

Because I'm weird like this, I wanted to post a picture of my yummy lunch-fried ham and pepperjack cheese sandwhich, with an apple and some more pepperjack :) One can never have too much of that stuff. Unless you try to make mac and cheese out of it....Sean and I learned that the hard way...

Your Little Vintage Girl

What a cold and windy day! My eyes were tearing up during these pictures because the wind was just vicious. This has to be one of my favorite vintage outfits. This skirt was my grandmother's and it came with a little white blouse to go with it, but I believe the blouse is quite stained...I don't know that I will be able to wear it. The skirt is in amazing condition though. I'm not sure what era it is from exactly, but it has to be at least 30-40 years old, and I'm sure it's homemade! This is even an outfit that I would wear to teach in-a plaid skirt and cozy cardigan is kind of a teacher's uniform!

I work another late night tonight. I will be changing into black clothes shortly! I work in the kids/swimsuit/ladies' coats section tonight. The dressing rooms are some of the worst because of the complicated swimsuits which people leave lying all over the floor. But at least it's something different and I will be out of the mens' department for a while! I didn't know anything about the mens' clothing so it was difficult for me to answer their questions. Especially when they turned around to show me their tush and asked, "are these classic or regular fit?" I DON'T KNOW SIR, SORRY! Yeeesh.

Hope you're all having a lovely Monday :)
God Bless,
KJA

This will always be one of my favorite verses!
1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Comfort Colors

I think color blocking is my friend. I love each of the colors that I'm wearing so much-why not put them all in one outfit? I kind of look like yesterdays cookie...bursting full of color! haha...

Today we went back to visit a church that we tried several weeks ago. I think it's a keeper. Sean and I have a couple of friends there and all of the people are very nice and friendly. The music is amazing and so far we really like the pastor. I'm pretty sure we both really enjoyed today and the fact that the pastor preached on Samuel (which Sean and I just finished not that long ago) was really cool. I love it when you've been reading a certain passage, or thinking of a certain song during the week and then you go to church and hear it again! It solidifies everything and makes you feel like God is really orchestrating it just for you :) Love it!

Now Sean gets some video game time while I work on my homework! Maybe I can convice Sean to go buy me a cookie for all the studying...hmmmm.JUST KIDDING! haha, one of those babies will probably last me all month!

Enjoy your Sunday Lovlies!

1 Samuel 2:2
There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.

It was incredibly cold out today. Poor Sean froze his fingers off snapping photos for me! At least I didn't have to be out with my tripod in the wind-brrr!

It was so dark out today! Cloudy and dreary-I had to spice it up with some bright colors!!

You Like an Exhorbitant Amount of Photos, Right?

The day isn't over, but already Sean and I have had quite a bit of excitement (compared to a normal Saturday anyway...). We made a wonderful breakfast (at 11:30 am) of omlettes with the works. It was delicious! Then we got dressed and went shopping for baby clothes! A friend of Sean's had a little baby girl-so we scoured the mall for something to buy the litte cutie. We ended up with a bunch of fun onesies in shades of purple and cupcakes :)-bought at Macy's of course! Then we went to the cookie place in the mall (naughty us...) and got some filled cookies for a treat! I was actually talking to my beautiful mama at the time we bought them, so Sean picked out some amazing m&m cookies!! mmmmm....:)

The weather is being really crazy, if you can see in the pictures there are flurries of snow coming down and it's very dark outside. It's also cold and windy! I'm not complaining though. I actually was kind of sad when the weather warmed up because I have so many winter outfit ideas that I haven't gotten a chance to wear yet!! haha, that's probably a terrible reason for not wanting spring, isn't it?

Later today Sean and I are going to see the little baby girl-I'm so excited! Who doesn't love babies?

I love days off :D
God Bless!
