Blue Sweater and Beret

1 Corinthians 10:23-24
“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.  No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.

Psalm 118:5-6
When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place. The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

2015 Outfit Roundup

Hello there! I feel as though it's been ages since I've written a proper post. This past year has brought so many changes for me it seems, as does every year in hindsight. I haven't been blogging very often and I certainly do miss it. I decided that other things in life needed to take priority over this.
A few weeks ago Sean and I sat down and wrote up a priority list for me as one of the things I struggle with is saying yes to everything. I inevitably end up drowning and have no time left to focus on things that are actually important. I have no goals in 2016 other than to keep growing. Keep growing in my relationship with Christ, in areas of service, in creativity. There are so many other areas, too many to write.
Twenty-six has been a strange year for feeling my age. I'm not in my early twenties anymore, and yet inside I still feel like a confused 16 year old. I'm not sure at what point one begins to feel like an adult, but whatever it is I haven't reached it yet.

2015 consisted of:
- Getting a new job at the operations center of a bank
-Beginning to help lead in in my church in the areas of worship, hospitality, and youth ministry
- Camping trips both with my family and the in-laws
- Ice skating for the first time
- Running my third 5k
- Donating my hair for the fourth time
- Getting to welcome my first niece into the world!
- Getting to watch my sister perform at Lifelight for the second year!

I'm sure there are many more things. The reason I love blogging is so that I can go back and remember all of the little moments I seem to forget as the months go by. I would love to start regularly blogging again in the new year to keep as a reminder of how blessed I truly am.

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's celebration.
Keep growing in 2016.
God Bless,

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
