Splendid

What a great weekend I've had so far! My sister came to stay with us Friday night and we had a grand time just hanging out with one another! We (attempted) to bake, did some cooking, some talking, some rocking out to music. It was just a blast. Then Saturday we made our way to our other sister's house to (finally!) have our family Christmas. My family works such odd hours that it's hard to coordinate a time to get together. A month after Christmas it finally worked out! But I'm glad-it was such a great day. I am still editing the around 500 pictures that I took of the day-I will post a few of those this week :) We had brunch, spent time with our hilarious nephews, opened gifts, and even watched some old home videos. Perfection!

Hope you have a splendid Sunday!
God Bless,
KJA

Isaiah 12:4-5
In that wonderful day you will sing: Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! Sing to the LORD, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.

I got this simply lovely scarf from my mama as one of her Christmas presents to me! She and my older sister each got me a scarf and I'm soooo excited. I have a love affair with scarves that just won't quit, especially when it is so cold outside!

Christmas in January...I love it! I think January is one of the hardest months to get through...just b/c of the freezing cold weather and short days...so a Christmas celebration with family sounds like quite the perfect thing to remedy that. Beautiful dress and coat...I love how the scarf ties everything together.
