Catching Up

I got to have lunch with two of my favorite young ladies in the world today! One of my jr. bridesmaids and my flower girl from my wedding,(along with their parents and little brother) were in town. Sadly, their third sister, who was also a jr. bridesmaid, was not with them. I hadn't seen them since my wedding which was about a year and a half ago! It seems like such a long time and these darlings have grown up so much now. They are 10, 11, and 13. I have been babysitting these girls since the eldest was born-thirteen years ago. They are considered my younger sisters because I spent so much time with them growing up and they are so dear to me. I about burst into tears when I saw them today-so tall and beautiful! Sean and I met them at their hotel for some lunch after church. They were in town skiing so I was glad I could meet up with them for a bit! We sat and talked for two hours at the restaurant, mostly about horses and school-we just caught up on life! I hope I will always be friends with them :) I was worried now that they're getting older that they would be too cool to hang out with me-but they're just as sweet as ever. Love them so much.

Psalm 24:1
The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.

God Bless and have a simply lovely day :)

Wow, that coat is such a sweet thrift find...seems like you always find the prettiest things:) And those shoes! If that is what Kohl's is putting out these days, I do have to stop by there more often. Sounds like a beautiful time reuniting with your jr. bridesmaid and flower girls. I haven't seen my wedding party in years!

that coat is amazing! It seems crazy to think about the people you've known since they were born! Time sure does seem to fly. AND I really love all of your blue hues!

I love those wedges! SO fun, and the red piping on your coat is just fabulous.

To answer your question about my closet up shots - I have a remote to release the shutter, so the camera can autofocus on me where I stand, rather than using the 10 second timer which has to focus without you being in the frame.

Then i just take a lot of shots, so hopefully a few will be what I was looking for.
