Long Weekend Blues

Whew! It was quite the weekend. I wanted to take pictures and post, but when you're with other people you don't want to make them wait for you and watch while you have pictures taken of yourself....so....no outfit pictures from this weekend. Which makes me sad actually because I really love the outfit I wore to the show. Maybe I will wear it to church or something so I can document it!
Also, I really didn't feel that well all weekend, so I really only dressed up for the show and then wore sweatpants for the rest of the time-I hate driving places and four hours in the car one way called for comfy clothes!
Today is gorgeous again. I can't believe this October weather in South Dakota! There are years where we've had snow in October and right now it is just fantastic. Although, the month is only half over-there is till time for it to get super-chilly!
For once I feel like I'm caught up a little bit on my homework-that's the first time since the semester started! Instead of doing what is due that night during the day, I'm actually doing it days ahead of time so that I can relax and not stress over things getting done-it's a relief!

I was without granola for the past five days and I gotta tell you I missed it. So the first thing I did when I got up this morning was make a batch! I totally used up another container of oatmeal though...it's gonna start getting expensive pretty soon! haha...

Sean and I got some paintings for the wall this weekend from someone who was moving. They are nice paintings and so Sean and I will have to take a day here soon to put up all of the decorations and picture frames we got from the wedding and such! Make it look more like a home :) Then we will have to have family over again to see the house actually decorated and not just bare white walls!
Anywho, I hope you all had a great holiday Monday and are prepared for the week ahead!
God Bless,
KJA

Proverbs: 31-35
31 Do not envy a violent man
or choose any of his ways,

32 for the LORD detests a perverse man
but takes the upright into his confidence.

33 The LORD's curse is on the house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the righteous.

34 He mocks proud mockers
but gives grace to the humble.

35 The wise inherit honor,
but fools he holds up to shame
