Monday Outfit: Basic Gray Dress

Why hello there! I am debuting another one of Grandma's fabulous coats. This one is pretty special. It is made of a carpet like material and has a zip out lining so you can wear it in the winter and spring. It also came with treasures. One of the pockets was stitched shut and when I un-stitched it there were five one-dollar bills inside of it, along with a plastic rain hood for when you get caught in the rain and don't want your hair/hat to get wet! I had such fun thinking of how 40 years ago, some bills (and wadded up kleenex) got stuffed into a pocket and never made their way out until they got to me. Hwo cool is that?!

This bag is my grandmother's as well. There are so many photographs of her carrying this bag around. I'm sure it took her through many adventures!

This dress is another beauty from Aviena. It is so wonderfully basic I know I will get so much use out of it. It is also in fantastic shape. It zips down the front so I don't have to worry about popping buttons or any of that nonsense. The details are fabulous as well. The flaps near the lapel, the pockets, and the volume at the back of the dress make it a treasured item.
I paired the dress with this wonderful hat from my shop. It is a gorgeous hat with pearl and glass beading adorning the back. There is also a chinstrap, and it's cream color is so classic. I adored wearing it!

Have a great day all!
God Bless,
KJA

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good  things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

gASP! Are those bills any different looking from today, even if just ever so slightly? That's too neat that you found some "treasures" (hahaha, I don't know how treasureful they really are, but it's definitely cool) in your pockets. That coat has the absolute neatest texture, and I love it with your purple gloves and purple-y ensemble!
