A very happy Valentine's Day to you crazy kids! Today's remix features one of my very favorite items of clothing. It is a little vintage peacoat with red trim that I purchased in my husband's hometown in April of 2011. I found it in perfect condition with the vintage label telling where it was made sewn into the red satin lining. It was only 8 dollars, there was no way I was not going home without this coat! Since them it has become a staple, pairing well with every outfit I own and keeping me warm while doing it. You know how some pieces can catapult your style into a new level? This coat is mine. I feel like since I bought it I have begun to hone my style into something that is both classic, quirky, and retro-all the qualities this coat possesses. Do you have an item like that in your closet?

I adore this coat, oh goodnes. The red trim is just too cute, and the camel color is lovely. How versatile it must be!
