A Chill in the Air

Hey hello! Did you all have a lovely weekend? Sean and I spent it getting a few things done around the house and taking in the last of the winter Olympics. Sean was really surprised at how into the Olympics I get. The last time the winter games were on I was in college and didn't have time to watch it. These past couple of weeks I've been glued to the tv every night taking in skating and more skating! What was your favorite part of these games? Watching Meryl Davis and Charlie White was certainly a highlight for me.

Well, I finally found the perfect hat! No...I absolutely do not say that about every hat I own, I don't know what you're talking about. :)
This is a lovely little 1930's slouch hat very reminiscent of Jean Arthur. I found it at a vintage shop in town and the beautiful blue color and satin bow at the back had me sold. I love the little details of it, the shape, and just the air of glamour it carries with it. 1930's hats are some of my favorites, it's a pity they're much harder to find (and when you do they're so much more expensive!). I decided I couldn't let this one go though.

God Bless, I hope you have a great start to your week!

1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

ugh, I have so been wanting to watch figure skating but even on the weekends I am just CRAMMED with work! It's ridiculous tbh. What is this college and why does it keep me so busy?

So whenever you post your cute hair/outfits on Facebook I always squee a little because you are just such a darling, Katie! I love the colors in this outfit so much, especially the texture of that blazer with your pretty magenta-red lips! You are a doll as always, and I hope your week goes swell! <3

I love this whole outfit; it's so collegiate-chic!

The hat is definitely the crowning glory, though, so to speak. ;) Such a great, cohesive look from head to toe.

Cheers!

I think you look darling in your cute little hat.
Do you wear them out and about? Or just for pictures? I was kind of being nosy. You don't have to share if you don't want to.:) Merry from eachlittlebird.blogspot.com
