Heat Wave

The temperature spiked today-it's a whopping ZERO degrees outside! That means I can pull out the swimsuit right? Har har har.

In spite of the cold I am in a great mood. I found out last night that I will not have to commute to campus this semester to take a class! The professor worked it out with the dean that I could take that particular class next semester as part of a residency program that I will be involved in. I'm pretty excited not to have to drive and this means that I will only be taking one online class for this semester. Woohoo! Now I really need to get my rear in gear and get a job. Be praying please!

The hubby and I are finally starting to work on getting ourselves healthier. We've started up a physical and spiritual workout. Every other day we read several chapters of the Bible together, and the other days we work out together! It's been pretty fun so far :) I'm excited that we're finally taking the time to do these things instead of being so lazy and tired and stressed out. It's nice that now that we live where Sean works we have more time to do things and less worry in our lives-it's a good feeling!

This is one of my favorite verses. It can be difficult to follow, because it's against human nature to feel joy in certain circumstances in our lives, but we just have to remember that there is no situation that God can't turn around and use for good and for His purpose :)

James 1:2-3
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

God Bless!

I love all the layers in this look. Very colorful and they look so warm for it being so cold out.

You're too cute! Looks like you probably got everything for good deals, too. Love that.

And the long hair! Ah, to have long hair again and actually be able to take care of it. I'm no good at that.
