Sister Date!

This is who I spent my lovey day with :) Isn't she kind of really beautiful? Yes, I know :D

We did a bit of thrifting, quite a lot of picture taking, some dancing, and of course some yummy eating of my first attempt at making chili. Quite an eventful day if I do say so myself. The weather was absolutely perfect and we did some walking on the trails at Sertoma Park. The trees are starting to change and it was simply beautiful to walk through the 'woods' and see all of the loveliness. Of course these woods are in the middle of the city, but I like to pretend we're in the middle of nowhere in our own little forest :)

Yep, we're pretty cute ;) bahahaha....

Both of my sisters definitely have major photography talent. I had my sister take some blog pics for me, and I'm in love with the way they turned out! We had great lighting today for photos, so it was perfect. I also think they turned out better because I had Sean change the camera back to its default settings this morning. I think something had gotten messed up and now it seems to be more back to normal.

I'm always amazed at how fast the Saturdays go these days. I have so many plans for the day but the time just flies by so quickly! I'm trying to soak up every moment because Monday's just sneak up on me-the little buggers.

Thanks for reading my blog :) I hope that you all had a relaxing Saturday and got to spend some time with the people you love :)
ps: Here's the link to my teacher blog for the week!

God Bless,

James 3:17-18
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

She is beautiful...and so are you:) I love the photos she took of you, such a beautiful location. I agree that Saturdays go by way too fast. You really have been donning some of the sweetest vintage pieces lately. That blazer is so classic and chic! Have a good weekend! x Marisa

What are you wearing on your lips? It's a great color and complements your complexion beautifully! I'm envious!
