Swatch

Well, on my mind this week is that I'm still up to my ears in paint swatches. Sean and I can't seem to agree on any color scheme for our bedroom! The man wants a purple bedroom and I just can't figure out why. I mean,  don't get me wrong-I love purple...but I'm not sure I want it all over our bedroom for the next several years. It's a lot. I have trouble committing though. Anything I choose I start to regret within a matter of hours. I need to just pick something and be happy with it I suppose! The problem is that we want to get the room painted before we move in on Saturday, which is a tough thing if we can't even choose a color by then!

So this week the weather is either raining, or super-blindingly sunny. I'll take the rain thank you very much (except on moving day...)! I wore this ensemble to church on Sunday. I've always been in love with this jacket. The proportions are just what I dream of in a blazer. I used to wear it with jeans in college, but now I dress it up as something more sophisticated. I bought the jacket at Ragstock many years ago and it's held up wonderfully well. The tag also says it's 100% silk-but it has such a great texture to it one wouldn't guess it was silk! It is one of those pieces I wish I could find more information about. I have a lot of those in my closet :)

Well, this girl needs to do some more packing!
Happy Wednesday Friends!
God Bless,
KJA

I could see this looking very cute with jeans as well as your dresses like we see here.

Yikes! Picking paint. Lately, I've been really seeing the advantages of white walls since they let you have more flexibility in your other decor choices. Maybe just one accent wall (maybe a pale violet or a bold purple) with the others white would balance things out? Or some other item in the room (like bedding or a repainted dresser) could be purple. Easier to change up if you want months down the road?

Whatever you choose, good luck with painting and moving!

I love the dress you have on! And I'll take the sun, you can have my rain :)

Ooh, I really like this outfit Katie - super cute! That blazer is definitely perfect, especially over this dress.
Good luck picking a color you both agree on!
Also, I really like today's verse. Its just what I needed to be reminded of. Thank you for sharing! :)

You are a dream in this dress!!! Seriously, you look extraordinary!
About the paint thing, you can always repaint it when you don't like it anymore :D

hahahaha, your guy wants a purple bedroom? That's funny and made me giggle. :) Hey, maybe you could go for a subdued, pale purple and dry some lilac for accents. It could be so pretty!

I'm loving your blazer. The texture on it is way perfect!
