Life Lately

Life has been kind of crazy lately with house stuff, but here are a few snapshots of what I've been up to besides packing!

Making cookies with one of my VERY BEST friends, Candice! This girl always makes me laugh so much and I love her to pieces :)

One week before we're moving the apartment finally gives us a new faucet and sprayer. Great, could you have done that two years ago maybe? Sheesh..

SO MANY paint swatches!

We've been having a lot of stormy weather lately-here are some shots I took of the sky a few nights ago-looks like a painting, huh?

Aaaaand, most importantly-We welcomed my sister home after nearly a year of being gone on a mission trip called The World Race! I've never cried such happy tears in my life and it was wonderful to have our family together again. I love my mama and sisters :D
I was so glad we got there in the nick of time to welcome her as she came down the ramp. Her plane landed a bit early and we were running a bit late so it was a total blessing we had such perfect timing so we could welcome her back home with screams and hugs. The other people in the airport must have thought we were crazy! haha

I made her strawberry shortcake to celebrate :)

Hope you all had a great weekend!
God Bless,
KJA

Romans 15:7
Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

How exciting that your sister is back! Happy for you. The pictures of the sky are so pretty, definitely like a painting. I always find choosing paint swatches fun...I often say to my husband it is lucky we will be renting for quite some time with all the paint ideas I have for when we buy a house. He might come back from work one day and find the entire house painted pink and all the ceilings purple.

ugh those skies are beautiful! I remember whenever I'd visit my relatives in ND/Montana, the skies would be just gorgeous and paint stunning dreamscapes behind mountains. Pretty, pretty!

Aw, how sweet is that for you to meet your sister with a big sign and cookies and all the inbetweens! I bet she had a huge smile on her face when she saw that--and you all! :)

And I had a girl in the office just tell me about a friend who was doing the World Race. How amazing to have your sister home!
