Hair-Inspired

I was feeling very Victorian on this rainy Saturday. I find more and more that my hairstyle dictates what kind of outfit I want to wear. I've been experimenting a lot lately with my hair and it always puts in a different state of mind. I've been working on tutorials, so hopefully I will have some up soon!

This blouse is probably the most dreamy, silky thing I've ever worn. I felt so fancy in it all day long. It's just a synthetic polyester, but it mimics a satin-y texture so well.

I have some exciting news to share! Sean and I got an offer accepted on a house! I will share more pictures and details of the house soon, but we are so very happy about it. It is a really cute house painted in a light blue color and it's a good compromise between the two of us and what we like. I can't wait to share more with you all soon!

God Bless!
KJA

Oh wow Katie, you always make me feel transported in time. Your from another era woman! Love this pretty blouse and your amazing hair. Can't wait to see the tutorials. I'll admit, I'm already intimidated to try them though. My hair is quite unruly :/
Congrats on the house offer being accepted! How exciting! :D

KATIE. GIRL. You look like a beautiful Victorian model in these photos. Seriously, your hair is so professional and photo-esque looking... That first picture could be in an editorial or something. I'm not even playin'!

I adore your lipstick as well. You just really know how to dress yourself well and put on makeup well. You have such a penchant for it!

A light blue house sounds lovely (especially on days where the sky isn't such a lovely blue color, ehe!). I'm so glad that you finally settled on something, yaaaay! That must be a lot of pressure off you, huh? :)
