Snow on May Day

That's right folks, on May 1st it rained it the middle of the night, and then gave us a couple of inches of snow by the morning! Only in South Dakota....are any of you experiencing this crazy spring weather? If you can't see, there is a definite lake behind me in our yard. These are the best photos I could get under the circumstances ;) Time to bundle up once again!

And yep, that is totally a paper plate in our yard just hanging out. If you look closely the grass is full of cigarette butts too. Our neighbors are pigs, just another reason we're looking for a house to move into! Speaking of which, I wore this outfit to do a bit more house hunting today also. It's looking up actually! I'll let you know soon how things go....:)

Have a Blessed May Day friends!
God Bless,

It's snowing here too! How depressing for May Day!!

You look super cute though in spite of the weather! I will keep my fingers crossed for you on the house front!

Looooooove that polka-dot blouse!!!
I'm so sorry about your weather....we've had two gorgeous days, but it's supposed to get rainy again tomorrow. It's not snow, but I'll be feeling your pain, somewhat. :)

Haha, the random plate is just great. Love that fabulous coat, you wear it so well. Also, nice mix of plum and green - such pretty layering!
Its crazy how slowly spring is arriving. its been gusty and freezing here in Idaho as well. Although we haven't gotten any snow, thank goodness....haha

I could hardly believe when I saw you got snow again..along with some of the other FT ladies! I think it's safe to say spring finally made it to my area just today after the long await! Despite the icky weather - you of course look fabulous. That coat is the bees knees! I am always smitten with your vintage ensembles Katie!

Keep warm!

This seems like a very hep cat type of outfit. Fun!

Also, it totally sucks that it snowed (might do here too, this weekend), but it helps that at least you have a super cute coat to wear!
