Roll With It

Today was just a really great day. I feel like I've been in a bad funk for the past little while. You know that feeling that you just can't put your finger on, but something isn't right? Well, today the fog lifted and I found myself smiling at all the people in the grocery store, and singing to myself (aloud!) in the parking lot...just call me a giddy idiot! I finally got over another spring cold I caught, school is nearly over, and we have a newly shingled roof on our new home! Not to mention the play is going well, the weather is beautiful, and I made quite possibly the best thrifting haul ever today. How could I not be happy with all of those blessings showered over me?  It makes me feel silly for getting down in the dumps sometimes. Just shake it off, girl!

I also finally figured out how to do consistently passable victory rolls in my hair! I used to get so frustrated and just end up wearing my hair straight and down, but no more! It really is so easy to get rolls in your hair, but they look so special and fun. That's my kind of hairdo :) All I needed was a bit of practice!

I hope you're all having a splendid week as well :)
God Bless!

Oh Katie, I'm so glad that you shook off a bad case of the funk and immersed yourself in the sunshineeeee! That's gotta be a great feeling. No shame at all in singing to yourself--I catch myself humming while I shop for groceries far too many times, hahaha :)

Man, your hair is gorgeous here! It twists just perfectly, like a nice little cinnamon bun atop your head cascading down into... undone cinnamon buns? Haha, that was an awful comparison. What I'm /trying/ to say is that it's super pretty! <3

I am glad to hear your funk lifted!! I find I get into cycles where I'll feel great for months and then just have weeks of feeling crappy. But it's always nice to know it will pass.
I love your hair like this, it looks fantastic, and makes me wish my hair was longer.
LOVE these pants, and this pretty red blouse

Absolutely know what you mean. It's been a sucky week for me too. Most of my friend are pretty down too, maybe it's the weather :D

Love your high waist jeans with the red blouse, totally cool!
