I thrifted this little sailor-themed jacket a couple of days ago and I just couldn't wait to wear it! I could probably rant to you forever on how awesome it is. I love the asymmetrical red and blue, and how the zipper is off to the side. There is more red wrapped around, and less blue which I think is so interesting! Genius :)
It also has a little sailor's wheel for the zipper and anchor buttons on the pockets. Could it get any more vintage perfect?
I wore this to play practice. We're getting closer to the show now which is exciting! My favorite part of musicals is getting to dance :) I've always loved to dance. I've thought for a long time about taking a dance class from somewhere here in town, but I haven't done it yet! I'm going to have to get on that, because dancing just makes me happy :)
I trust you all are having a great week! I love the rain, so it's been all smiles and cozy blankets in my neck of the woods. Plus, going for a run in the rain is so much more refreshing than having the sun beat down on you.
God bless!

Oh my goodness, that jacket is just so cool! I have never seen anything like that before - what a great find!
It sounds like you are really enjoying being apart of that play! How awesome; I miss doing musicals - I was pretty involved in high school, but there just isn't enough time in college if you aren't a theatre major. Oh well, someday I'm sure it will happen again.
Have a fantastic week, hon!

Katie, you are too adorable. And that jacket is pretty fantastic. :) I love keeping up with you on your blog!
What an adorable jacket! I love the asymettrical color blocking and sailor theme. How cute is that zipper?
And that's awesome you're into dance. I've been enjoying what little bit I get of it here and there. I want to take social dance eventually and learn all the classic dances, but I'm already loaded up on PE credits for the fall semester.
Thanks for the encouragement and advise, I hope that by being honest I can help others! Trying to go through this and put it in a spiritual perspective is something I want others to read and be affected by.

Whoa, that jacket is so cool! You look like you're ready for the vintage olympics, hahaha. I love how it divides colors on each side and how the zipper itself is white. It's rather patriotic, too!
I'm glad that you're enjoying the rain--can't say the same about rainy bike rides, but it definitely cools everything down which is nice. :)
Woah, this jacket is so cool! I love how even when you're casual, you're still incredibly stylish and original :)
Sounds like you're having a ton of fun with the play!
Great look, love your jacket! Following you on GFC now, hope you might follow me back)
Such a cute outfit! And why didn't I know you did musical theatre?? What show are you doing? I'm an actor and singer so I love when I find other bloggers who are into the same things! :)

This jacket is melting my heart! The little wheel zipper is just about the cutest embellishment ever! Now I am even more excited about maybe going thrifting for the memorial day sales!
Hope you're having a wonderful day!

It's been raining where I live too and all day. Which has been really lovely as it's one of my favorite parts about spring! Mind you I couldn't quite agree with you about jogging in the rain. Haha the thought of it is lovely to me but the actually process is messy and soggy.
Love how your jacket has the side zipper. Such a fun find!
I LOVE your jacket so much, it is so unique and beautiful. I am always impressed by all your finds and I love this colour combination. How adorable is the little zip!? It's raining so much here too.
