Just Another Monday

Hello all on this loverly Monday! Blah, I'm forcing cheerfulness in my half-asleep stupor. Why do the husband and I choose to stay up so late on the weekends when we KNOW that we have to get up ridiculously early Monday morning? haha, we're sillies I suppose.

All in all today went pretty well with my kiddos at school. I should begin making a quote book of all of the funny things that they say day to day. Today's funny quotes include, "And look at all of those kids from other countries! They're from America, and Indiana..." Bahaha...I almost lost it! At recess the boys were showing off their muscles and they asked to see mine, so I showed them...and this was the response I got, "Woahh! Do you work out!" HAHA I guess because my arms are so much larger than theirs, they assume that I have huge muscles...it was pretty awesome!

I'm trying to soak up all of this lovely (hot) sun, so I had to break out my vintage shorts one last time before the summers end! They look like a skirt, but oh no my friends, they are definitely the most amazing shorts ever thrifted.

Hubby and I are headed off to the most amazing smoothie place in town! It is called Juice Stop and it is pretty flippin fantastic. They have all of these different combinations of fruits-last time I went there I got the butterfly - Lemonade, Strawberry Juice, Raspberry Sherbet, Strawberries and Raspberries-mmmmm! Sean's wonderful sister gave us a gift card so we are definitely going to get our smoothie on!

God Bless :)

James 1:5-6
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

Hehe...so cute. I just love some of the things that kids come out with. I kind of forgot my days of working in kindergarten now after I spent so many years working in a high school. Though high schoolers come out with some of their own interesting things for sure.

Thanks so much for your sweet condolence and verse you left regarding my grandmother. It's difficult but awesome to know she is no longer suffering and is with the Lord now:)

Your shoes! I love them! I can't believe you found them at Target - were they a recent purchase? Because I'm kind of dying to get them now :)
