I Have Grapes on my Shirt

As soon as I found this skirt at my local thrift spot, I knew I had to have it. For some reason I've discovered that my new favorite color is seafoam green. It is part of a vintage two piece suit and I snapped it up before I could bat an eye. I also found this glorious vintage blouse with the pretty tie at the neck and immediately knew that they were a match made just for me! And of course the skirt was exactly my size. I really don't know how this happens to me. So of course I bought the skirt...and the shirt...and maybe a couple other things too. For like ridiculously cheap. When I got home I promptly threw the jacket that goes with this skirt into the corner of my closet, never to be seen again (it is as ugly as I don't know what) and now I am smitten with my new green skirt. I decided to do up my hair like I used to do in plays and put on a little fun lipstick-I just needed to play a little dress up!

School is definitely kicking my behind though, as if we didn't have enough on our plates with this residency, today was the addition of our sixth class to the que. It pretty much made all of us a little bit sick with the addition of another 150 pages of textbook reading, lesson planning, and who knows what else. Not to mention that this one class alone requires 5 books.

Ok, I'm done being a baby now, I promise :) Head on over here if you want to read my teacher blog for the week!

God Bless :)

I'm pretty much so obsessed with anything that is seafoam/minty green...definitely my favorite color. Your thrifted finds are quite lovely. It's rare to find such a beautiful print such as the one on your blouse (at least I never can) and I have been looking high and low for the perfect green skirt and still have yet to find it. Yours is perfect!
