Palm Sunday

Hello you! This is a simple 1940's outfit I wore to church this past Sunday. Just a seemingly basic vintage dress paired with my grandmother's teal coat.  This dress, however, has many unique details, from the cute collar, to the shoulder pads, to pockets, and my personal favorite- a front zipper. The dress zips up the front, which means no puckery buttons threatening to pop off at any moment. Huzzah for curvy girls!

It was terribly cold and windy when we took these pictures. It was quite jarring to go from sunny and 75 to windy and 30 degree weather the next day. I froze up like a popsicle after these photos!

Alright dolls, this gal has some lesson planning to do so I will make this short and sweet! Enjoy your Wednesday!

God Bless,
KJA

Oooh, ahh! Oooh, ahhh! What a stunning outfit, Miz Katie! haha, I must say that I always adore how dainty your hand poses are. You're just a charmer, you are! That coat is the loveliest color and I love how your dress matches the backdrop of barren trees.

It got suddenly cold here, too! I'm actuallay okay with it since I don't want the heat and humidity. NOT YET!

Have an incredible hump day!! Stay warm and drink lots o' tea. :D

Oh, how I love that you inherited that coat from your Grandmother, so sweet (and it's beautiful too)! Our weather also went from sunshiney bliss to cold (snow even!), here's hoping we both stay warm! :)

Fantastic outfit!!! That blue coat is like wearing a glorious spring or summer clear sky with you wherever you go. You look positively gorgeous, dear gal (and I adore that you found an actual palm to pose with for Palm Sunday - charming!).

Oh my goodness, this outfit is perfect! You look so classy-- that dress is a stunner. Love it!

We had similar weather here. Not fun at all! It looks like it should warm up again by the weekend, though!

Cheers,
Jenny

What a fabulous outfit! I especially love the dress. It's a great basic color, but has lovely detailing and a wonderfully flattering shape!
And your hair is gorgeous! You always have such perfect vintage style hair-dos! :-)

The weather has been so angry these past couple of weeks, it's like it's doing this on purpose :D
