Outfit: Pink and Flowers

I got my locks trimmed a couple of inches the other day, so whilst wearing my hair down and straight like this I got a bit inspired by the late 60's. This floral cowl neck top which belonged to some family member or another was just the ticket to feeling springy and fresh. I also opted for a more orange-y pink lipstick to fit the vibe of the era. With the warm weather back on its way (hopefully!) I feel a change in style coming on with more simplicity. It's so nice to be able to throw on an outfit and go without having to worry about coats/gloves/scarves/etc. (not that I don't adore all of those things :) ).
This was just before I got my hair cut, but it really didn't look any different afterword. I just got the split ends done away with and that always feels so nice! It had been around 8 months since my last cut and I'm seriously considering donating the whole lot of it this fall.

Have you been having a good week my little posies?
God Bless!

Oh Katie, you're sooo perfect I'm jealous :D I love the Springy top, it's the perfect pink color ^_^
And you look so much different with straight hair. I keep getting a grunge vibe from you! You remind me of Avril Lavigne with your hair like that :D

Wow, you look absolutely beautiful in pink! It's such a great colour on you. And I'm always so envious of your hair! I find it so hard to get past the length I'm at now. And I love the bright flower-child vibe of this outfit! So perfect for spring.

Pink is such a beautiful color on you! I love the pattern of that top, too.
And your hair! It's so beautiful and long! It'd be fun to see what you did with it if you decide to donate it, though!

Oh my goodness, you are definitely channeling some Michelle Phillips here, and you look awesome! I love that color on you.

As always, your hair is gorgeous!

Cheers,
Jenny

Right?! Isn't it weird not having to bundle up? Mind, I will never have to bundle up as much as you, but I can imagine how different you feel. I was wearing just a shirt and long leggings on my bike ride this morning and felt pretty naked and vulnerable. It's gonna take time to get used to this weather change, haha. :)

Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous as always. It will look amazing even after you donate it, too. You've got such a pretty face that I'm sure any haircut would look cute on you (and all your shorter, mock-bob hairstyles were especially precious!).

Have a wonderful Thursday, Katie! This week sure did fly by. x___x!

Oh, how did I miss this awesome outfit? Your hair straight does give it such a sixties effect (also that coat with the flowers is something one would never think could work and it works SO. WELL.)

That is so cool you are thinking of donating your hair later this year! You look gorgeous with long hair, of course, but it is such a good cause and, well, I've always thought that for those forties and fifties looks shorter hair would actually make them easier to do too! (and you are gorgeous no matter what :) )

This outfit is so perfect - that top is such the perfect spring gem! I'm loving your hair like that too - it is different from how you normally wear it, but still just a gorgeous!
