Photoshoot Part Two: The Green Door

Here is part two of our photoshoot! We tried many different locations for this one and it was so fun to have various colored backgrounds to play off of the ensemble!

This gal is simply AMAZING at headshots. I loved just about every photo she took. I adored this salmon colored background too. It just made the photos pop!

Best shot of the day- the inside of my vintage carpet bag matched the door we were shooting against! It was meant to be :) I found this carpet bag at a vintage store in town. I have wanted one forever, but the ones I found were never quite right. I knew this was the one for me the moment I laid eyes on it. The pretty, peachy colors had me at hello, and a pretty green lining sold me on it. It even had a little plastic case attatched with a chain on the inside to store your lipstick! I couldn't say no, it was calling to me :)

Anna also did my makeup beautifully. It was fun to try out something different for a change, and I really loved the navy and plum pallet she chose! I felt stunning in it.

So, here's the story folks, I will be away this weekend to a land with no internet called my grandparents house! I love visiting there and it is one of the highlights of my year. I have a couple of posts scheduled to go so you won't notice too much :)
Have a great week everyone!
God Bless,

You look so gorgeous! Your friend did such a great job on the makeup - so cute! Also, I'm loving your skirt and purse, pretty fancy (as my grandmother would say in her PA Dutch accent). :P

Also, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! I hope that you and your hubby have a wonderful and lovely day together!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, goooorrggeeouussss! <3

If I had to pick a pretty little lady model, I would pick youuu~ gosh gosh GOSH I am gushing over how lovely these photos are, Katie! That top is so pretty with the lace and the details and the little silk buttons... and then your pretty pleated red skirt against the green door is a dreamy complement made in heaven. So much good with all these photos, wow!

Your makeup always looks so lovely, and I agree, the plum palette is beautiful on you! I think you could pull off pretty much any color palette, though. You've just got a really good skin tone and eye color for all that, I suppose. :) Hee hee, you're so cute, you're so cute~

okay, I'm done gushing. I hope you had as much fun modeling for these picture as I did looking through them. :D!

That green door is the perfect place for taking photos, you look like a vintage Queen. Adore the feminine top and vividly colored skirt <3

Oh, I love this. My favorite is the backlit headshot of you by the stairs, but those green doors are dreamy too!
