Today was so cold that they cancelled school. I guess a windchill of -40 isn't safe for kiddos to be walking around. Since I didn't have to work I spent the day hanging out and shopping with one of my very best friends! It was so much fun, we always have a blast talking with one another. We poked around in some shops, spent some time at the mall and ate a warm soup and salad lunch! Blissful. It was a sweater dress with another sweater piled on top kind of day. :)
A little bit of Narnia is always needed on a cold day!

-40 degree windchil... oh my god. I was dying on my 31 degree bike ride this morning. I can't even imagine... you are a brave soul, Mrs. Katie. But I'm glad you are staying warm with delicious mall shopping and hot lunch! That dress is so cute--I love the little puff sleeves!

I think my teeth just chattered from reading "-40 windchill" Yikes! YOU stay warm missy! That's just...whoo, a doozy. Haha, in case you can't tell, I'm not cut out for winter weather.

WOW The temperature honestly hasn't dropped below positive 40 where I live in California this winter so I can't even imagine what -40 must feel like! But being wrapped up in sweaters is a feeling I can definitely relate with! You look great, and I'm loving that cardigan! And I've actually never read Narnia before. Is it good? :)
