Start Fresh

I've had these photos sitting in my drafts for quite a while. I wore this to a game night we had with some friends. It was a casual, comfy outfit perfect for playing with doggies and sitting with your knees on the floor around a card table :)

This week has already been a doozy. I got two new students in my program and one of them is giving me a run for my money! Praying for patience and strength this week...
One thing I'm doing for myself is committing to a 5k training program. I'm not much of a runner, but I can't seem to stick to anything so I figured giving myself some kind of goal to shoot for is a good idea. I'm sure I'll never run in a 5k race, but I thought it was a good starting distance for me. Since the temps are around 15 degrees in the morning I bought myself some pretty new cold weather running gear as an incentive. I couldn't wait to put it on and start running! I'm slightly worried about next week as next Monday the HIGH for the day is -7 DEGREES. That's right, did you catch the negative symbol in there? No wonder my body goes into conservation mode and puts another layer on during the winter months (And also the reason for indoor pics)! I probably won't run on days it is that cold, but hopefully it will be warm enough in between to keep up a steady routine.

Happy Wednesday all you lovelies!

I love this for sitting around and playing games - much more stylish than what I usually wear to such an event! The color play so well together too, lovely as always!

I'll be praying for you at work and your 5k adventure. How awesome!

Running in -7 degree weather... dang girl! The worst weather I'll allow myself to bike in is 30 degrees... or else it's treadmill and pilates that day hahaha. Good luck! You sure are one intense lady. ;)

That light blue cardigan with the pretty blouse is so gorgeous! And I love how you wore it with jeans, it's such a great laid-back outfit :) And that's so cool that you are running a 5k! Good luck!

Absolutely love that top! Mint with a denim collar is it? I must get my bootie over to TJ Maxx more often! I just thought this morning about buying some pretty new running clothes as motivation. It was definitely super cold here this week too, but luckily did not get negative degrees UGH! Good luck with your new students!

I love this cute top with a vintage cardigan! 5k is a great distance to train for - you can do it!!! I used to be a runner and I've been pretty lazy lately but you're inspiring me to get back out there xoxo
