Some of my Favorites

I really have been living in this mustard beret this winter. It keeps my head toasty warm and the color goes with literally anything. I have a pink beret my sister got for me in France that I really need to be wearing more of too. Also, who knew I would fall in love with yellow legs? The subtle pattern of the dress has so many colors in it, and I decided to pull out the yellow tone in it :)

This is a dress I only pull out for the winter months as it is corduroy. It is incredibly comfortable though and surprisingly versatile as well. It is another one of my grandmother's pieces which just ups the awesome a bit :) Also, I didn't know I would be getting so much wear out of this scalloped jacket! I want to wear it with everything this winter!

Well, it was a nice break for a few days, but It's back to work today! I get so much accomplished on my days off, and then when I have to go back to work I become such a lazy lady again. Does that happen to anyone else?
Also, I had just about the best New Year's ever with some of my very favorite people in the world. Pictures to come of that soon! :D

Have a happy day everyone!
God Bless,
KJA

Haha, it's always hard returning to work after a break! I'm dreading the schedule a bit, but at the same time, Im more productive when I'm not lazy so... It's for the best :)

I LOVE the mustard, Katie! You pull off those mustard tights so effortlessly. I've really gotta get more wear out of you colored rights.

Haha, your grandma must be the most stylish grandma ever. Love this a lot, very vintage. The yellow beenie is super cute :-)

Yes to all of this! I love the yellow and the colors in the dress and the scalloped jacket is too fun! You have gotten some wonderful things from your grandmother!

And I'm totally like you, when I'm working, I'm way lazy! My husband said the reason I got sick after my time off is because I was "Turbo Bethie" while I was on vacation, doing too much at home!

That stunner was your grandma's?? that really does make it that much more amazing. I have a blue courdoroy dress too that I haven't whipped out of the closet yet, and now I absolutely have to. This whole look is gorgeous! and you really do pull off those tights so, so well.

Eeeep! That dress is just so adorable. I love the pattern, and of course, the fact that it was your grandma's. Paired with that jacket and those amazing yellow tights, it is just perfect.

Actually, I need to find a pair of yellow tights now. I found another vintage dress of my mom's in a hidden closet in her house (I swear, it is like Narnia) and I can't wait for summer to wear it, so yellow tights it is! :)

I've been the same way! I have those same tights from Target and another pair of the exact same color from Modcloth and I swear I wear them at least 3x a week if not more! This outfit is as perfect as ever Katie! I'm madly in love with the scallops on that jacket! Your vintage finds make me swoon...ALWAYS!

There are so many aspects of this outfit that I love. That scalloped jacket is definitely my favorite, but the print of your dress and that yellow beret is so sweet. I really want to see your pink beret too! I hope you have a great time back at work :)
