Romans 14:8
If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

This is what I wore on Sunday. I'm getting in this bad habit of posting outfit photos way behind when I actually wore them. I loved wearing this outfit though! This blouse is one of my favorites and I felt so comfortable in it.

This has been a crazy week. I planned to post these photos Monday or Tuesday, but I just didn't get around to it. It's hard for me to say it, but after all the excitement about getting a new job only around a month ago I decided to quit. I have had so many health issues (mainly caused by the amount of stress of dealing with 17 + three year olds on a daily basis). It makes me feel like such a weak human being that I can't handle a simple daycare job, but it just really wasn't right for me. I think I needed to try it for a bit to help me decide that it isn't what I want to do. I'm going back to my part time job at the district's after school program. I know I enjoy it and it is much less stressful. Plus I loved my coworkers and am so happy to be back with them again. I will start that job on Monday.
I've come to the realization in the past year of my life that I want to do things that make me happy. I haven't been happy with what I've been doing in a long time (as far as work is concerned) and I'm just not sure that life is all about work, which is what it has felt like. I want to do more creative things. I want to write children's books, I want to spend more time with my family and maybe actually see my friends once in a while, and I want to get involved in my church. I want to ACT again! I miss being in plays so, so much. And of course, I want to be a more pleasant person for my husband to live with. Seriously that guy has taken a lot of my crabbiness in the past year.

On a lighter note, a very happy birthday today to my step-father!! I haven't seen my parents in quite a while it seems. I hope you have a great birthday and I miss you!

Hope you all have a happy Wednesday! Enjoy life a little bit :)
God Bless!

Oh hon, we need to have a coffee date soon. I just feel like we have so much in common and going on in our lives! I am in the same spot, started a job (that I can't quite, unfortunately) that's taking such a toll on me...and realizing that I really need to be doing what God has placed on my heart. Now it's just a matter of figuring out how to get to that spot :) I'm glad that you're on the way -- best wishes finding your niche!

If you happen to ever want to get rid of any of your shoes...I'm just reminding you that I'll totally buy them ;) And I wouldn't mind if you taught me how to do that hairstyle either.

Love love love the colors in this outfit! Such a pretty lace top that is, and that skirt is a stunning color as well. :D

Oh no! At least you've realized that you aren't happy doing what you do right now and that you need to seek more happiness--I really do hope that you're able to do more creative things. You do seem like rather the creative soul (with the fun way you dress and all!). A daycare job with 17+ children sounds kind of awful, and I'm glad that you got away from it. Here's to hoping you find something you love to do! :)
