Looking Forward to It

What a fun relaxing weekend I've had! As you saw from yesterday's post, we spent a good part of our Saturday at the zoo walking around. I had so, so much fun and it brought back lots of childhood memories as that was the zoo that I grew up going to as a little girl.
I also got to do a bit of vintage shopping with my sister in law which was great! We had a lot of fun hitting up the different shops in town and just chatting about life. I found a treasure trove of vintage hats at one store and I cannot wait to debut them all to you! I couldn't wait to place one on my head immediately and wear it to church this morning. It was the perfect topper to my vintage blue dress!

The perfect end to this evening was that I got to skype with my beautiful sister in Nepal! She is in such a different time zone than I that we have difficulty finding time when the other is not sleeping or busy with their day. She is doing really well this month working with Nepali girls who live in a rehabilitation home aiming to stop the spread of sex-trafficking. Here is the link to her blog documenting her journey!

I'm back to work at the afterschool program tomorrow! I am beyond excited. My hours are way better and so are my bosses. I can't wait to see some of my students from last year too! I'm sure they've grown so much over the summer. I also cannot believe that school begins tomorrow! It hardly seems possible that it has been an entire summer already and I really think that I just accidentally blinked and missed the whole thing. I'm convinced.

I hope you all have a lovely and glorious week ahead of you :) For the first time in what seems like a very long while I'm really looking forward to my week!
God Bless,
KJA

I bet you're the best dressed church-goer, huh? :) That hat is so seriously cute! That's awesome that you found a whole bunch of awesome hats. Love how well the yellow compliments your blue dress, too! <3

JEALOUS of your hat!!! I need to go hat shopping sometime soon. Now that my hair is cut short, I think I could pull hats off ;)
