Church Christmas Party- My grown up version of red and green...

So, apparently my body knows that I am done with homework for the semester. It must have forgotten however that I still have to teach for another two weeks and decided to let me get really sick, as it usually does when I would otherwise have some time to relax. Blah. But I'm gonna stick it out. I haven't had to use one of my sick days for school yet (because I keep getting sick on the weekends), and I'm not about to use one now! I'm gonna muddle through the next few days and see if I can get well taking about a million vitamin C horse pills. Wish me luck.

Sean and I did make the trek to our Church cluster Christmas get together tonight though. I put on lots of makeup to hide the dark circles and put on some of my favorite pieces to make me feel better :) We had a white elephant gift exchange and I came away with a cool silicone Hershey Kiss muffin pan. Sean and I got rid of some of our canisters that we don't use anymore and a little bird candle thing that Hy-vee gave us on our wedding day :D bahaha. It was good times. The pastor and his wife got a new kitten which I pretty much played with all night long. It is a little orange tabby and I wanted to steal it and take it home with me. Someday I will have a house full of (okay maybe just like two) kitties to make me feel better when I'm sick. They have healing powers. I'm convinced.

Here is what I wore:

Alright, It's off to bed for this sickie. Goodnight!
God Bless,

Matthew 2:4-6
When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”
