Outfit: 1940's Red and Black Dress

Oh, hello! It has been a week since I last posted. My computer still has a virus, but Sean got it so that I can at least work on it again for the time being until he needs to rebuild my machine. I will use whatever time I have to squeak in a post!
So, life stuff! I got a new part time job. I will still be working at my Kid's Inc. Afterschool Program job teaching  k-5 grade students, but I added a second job I will be working in the mornings (and some weekends :P ). The job is at our Washington Pavilion science center. The Pavilion is home to many areas of business. There are a bunch of different departments for music, theatre, science, etc. They bring in shows for our community and have a cinedome as well. I even found out they can house up to three weddings at a time too! Craziness...
Anyway! I will be working for the time being in the childrens' science center teaching groups of kids/families at the different exhibits. I may even have to handle reptiles/snakes, and do some dissections (eeep!). At the moment I am completely stressing out (as I tend to do) because so far my schedules are completely not meshing together and I'm worried that I'll end up working 6 days a week every week and not getting anything done around the house, plus dealing with church stuff, 5k training, and having some sort of a social life PLUS trying to run an Etsy shop.
If that run on sentence wasn't enough to convince you I'm stressed, nothing will be enough.
Le sigh.
I am hoping that this job will lead to other opportunities though, like getting a job with the Pavilion's theatre department and turning that into a full-time gig once my elementary school closes at the end of this school year. So may changes happening!

Sorry for the horribly over-exposed photos! These were taken on a super sunny and windy day. I still need to learn how to better shoot in manual so that I can avoid this type of thing. Even if I learned I would have to teach husband and goodness knows how well that would go over. Photography is not really that man's passion.

Alright cats, have a blessed week, ok? Hopefully I will have time to post more than once this week, but we will see :)

God Bless,
KJA

How exciting! I absolutely love this dress, and I really like how you did your hair. The overexposed look isn't all that bad, I like variety in pictures :) I hope you find time to blog because I thoroughly enjoy reading it!!

Well I'm glad that I'm not the only one who hasn't been able to keep a consistent posting schedule... high five, girlfriend! ;) Good thing we've got our other social medias to stay in touch, right? But really!

Man, sounds like you've got tons of opportunities and things just going on right now though. I'm so happy that you're staying busy, even if it's hectic! Your job sounds just perfect for you. I hope it leads to even more wonderful opportunities!

Your outfit is just too precious. I love the collar and that red and black print. Red and black is so timeless!

Have a wonderful start to your week, my love!!

Your new job sounds super cool and unique! Sounds like you have a lot going on right now, life does tend to get crazy sometimes, and I hope you at least find some time for yourself in between it all. I always say, it's better to be busy than bored, and I'm sure your hard work now will provide for new opportunities in the future :). I love your outfit, especially that cute little bag :).
