Sertoma Butterfly House: The Outfit

Hello, hello! I've been kind of short on words this week, but that's only because things have been so busy...busy as a butterfly you could say! Speaking of which, here is the last set of photos from the butterfly gardens last weekend! I commissioned my family to take pictures of my outfit throughout the day. I always feel bad doing that...any of you bloggers feel the same way?  I have to say though, they're always very willing and I love them so for putting up with me :)
This was the most comfortable, easy outfit to wear. I found this skirt at a rummage sale for 50 cents and it was one of my best purchases to date. It is wool, but not a crunchy, itchy wool. I don't think it is vintage, but it plays the part very well and I just adore the length and subtle details of it. I seem to change decades so often. I am suddenly in love with the 1920's and it is quite a wonderful thing. Dark lips, short hair, and oxford heels. Yes please! Unfortunately this has made me want to chop all of my hair off in want of a bob a la Marion Davies. I might just do it one of these days, but for now I piled all of my hair up into a beret and called it a day :)

At any rate, we're off to my sister-in-law's wedding weekend, so I'll catch you all Monday!
God Bless,
KJA

So, SO gorgeous! The burgundy blouse and dark lips look so swell together! I am curious to see now if you do end up getting a bob, I think judging from these photos it would suit you very well :)

Ohhhhhh, gorgeous laaaaady! Can I draw your face one day? Seriously, you have such an aesthetically pleasing face and pretty eyes and pretty skin coloring and just shsjkdfhsdf I obviously have such a girl crush on you, my sweet Katie! I just adore your hair up in that beret. You make me want to get mine out and try something fun with it! These photos are stunning, as per usual. :)

Ooooh, so I totally thought of you today--I had my hair up in a twisty updo sort of thing and then let the rest fall down to my shoulders, and it reminded me of some of your fun hairstyles. It's funny how certain styles of hair or even clothing can remind us of people. :D I hope you had an awesome week, sweetums!! <3
