Outfit: Black Dress, Jean Jacket

Oh, hello! How very nice of you to stop in :) Just popping in to say happy Wednesday to you with a little outfit I wore to run errands in the other day. The black dress and jean jacket are so very basic, but I wanted to wear some color on my feet! I got these colorful high-tops at a rummage sale for 75cents and they are just so fun. They didn't come with laces, so I added some red ones when I got the chance and I really like how colorful they look now.

On my run this morning I passed a couple of girls selling kool-aid and brownies. I can never resist buying from kids at a 'lemonade' stand. These girls were probably 11 or 12 and it just brought back so many memories of my sisters and I when we were kids! They were holding up big signs and singing and yelling to get people's attention. Unfortunately I didn't see anyone else around...I hope business picks up for them this afternoon :) Anyway, it was like I was running my own little marathon and these girls were positioned at the end of my run right when I needed them the most. I had to double back home to get some change and they were so excited to have a customer-how fun is summer?!

God Bless!

I am loving your more casual outfits lately, I really struggle to pick out more casual clothes but I'm definitely using you for style inspiration! Oh I love little kids selling lemonade, that was so sweet of you to go over, you probably made their day :)

I love your glasses! Where did you get them from?

I love the innovation of kids in America to make money. We don't really have anything like that. The nearest we have is at church when teenagers are trying to raise money for World Challenge or for a church appeal by selling cakes they've made. I would totally buy a glass of lemonade!
Those hightops are Amazing!!!! They are a similar print to a vintage dress I thrifted once x
