Outfit: Nautical Winter

Why hello there! Although it was wet and rainy yesterday, I certainly cannot complain about the direction the weather is headed in around here. On Monday at work I let my students skip reading time and we just stayed outside for 2 hours. Usually after about a half hour they beg to come inside, but they were all loving it. It was 55 degrees, warm enough to just need long sleeves and no coat! Though there were quite a few puddles and a lot of wet little kiddos it was so worth it.
It was also nice on Sunday, when we took these photos. This dress and hat ended up looking quite nautical together, and I cannot wait to wear it sans snow very soon.

This little number is a dress I got from eShakti. I'll be sharing more about them next week, but for now I'll just gush on how much I love this navy number. Pockets, fun collar, red seaming? Yep, I'm in love.

Have a simply lovely day!

I cannot believe the way you managed to style the cardigan with that dress - stunning. It's a fabulous dress -and as always, you set it off perfectly with your choice of tights and shoes. Kx

This delightfully nautical outfit is adorable! What a great dress! I just love eShakti. I have two skirts from them, and I'm pleased as punch with both. Cute cardigan, too!

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog too, I'm probably as excited to be going into wool-wearing season as you are to be coming out of it!

Could you BE any more adorable?!

That dress fits you like a dream, and that hat looks as though it was made for it. Looking forward to hearing more about your eShakti experience.

Splendidly lovely ensemble! Isn't navy blue such a fantastic colour? I love that it brings more warmth to my colouring, as it does many peoples', while being every bit as versatile as black. I adore your styling here. I do would have opted for light hued accessories now that spring's return is upon us.

*PS* Thank you deeply for what is, hand on my heart, truly one of the most touching and terrific blog comments (and comments in general, I should add) I've ever received. You made my day, my week, my month! ♥
