Outfit: Blue Satin

Good Wednesday morning to you! Yes, I am wearing these pants again already. I knew they'd become a favorite immediately for not only their style, but their comfort. They were perfect for an evening out with my mother and sister on Saturday. This blue, satin hat is easily the favorite of my collection. The folds of bright fabric make any ensemble I wear it with seem truly special. I've worn it with this sweater before because the blues just look so divine with one another.  The sweater and coat are both my grandmother's. The sweater makes me realize even more how much I really should learn to knit. Vintage knits seemed to have such a more flattering shape than the boxy/baggy/shapeless sweaters of today. There were special details that just put them so far above modern fashion in my opinion.

Sidenote, I tried hot rollers for the first time in my hair and this is what I was left with. They were pretty much useless, have any of you had luck with using hot rollers? Is my hair just a bit too long?

Thanks to my sister Jenifer for taking my photos!! :D

Hey! Have a great day ok?
God Bless,
KJA

Pretty sure your hair is just way too long for hot rollers.

Love the color combo with this- cobalt blue and red just seem delish together.

ack, I couldn't agree more about that vintage sweater notion! My mom has a few old sweaters and they're still loose fitting but they fit... right. Like they actually fit where they should and aren't awkwardly tight in the armpits and boobs and then huge in the stomach area. Ah, if only we could have those sweater patterns still floating around stores today.

Mmm, red and blue are always good together. specifically with your pretty, pretty haaaair! <3

Have a wonderful Thursday and Friday, my sweet Katie-bug!
