Pick a Decade, Any Decade

I can't ever decide which past decade is my favorite. I feel like I wear a mish mash of pieces from all over the vintage spectrum. I guess that's the fun of fashion and getting dressed every morning! The BEST way to express oneself in my opinion. I wore this outfit to church on Sunday. I feel like this hat just screams  old lady on her way to church. I love it. I felt like I wanted a little pop of color in this mostly monochromatic oatmeal ensemble.
I adore everything about two piece suits. There's just something so undoubtedly reminiscent of times past when you wear a matchy-matchy look. Anytime I find one in a thrift store I literally jump up an down a few times. Eeep! I've worn this jacket quite a few times, but the dress is so warm I was waiting for cooler weather to wear it. I'm sure it will be on steady rotation as the temperatures begin to drop even more.

One more thing dears, the lovely lady behind Miss Mellalina on facebook featured me on her blog in a lovely compilation of photos from old to new! It was incredibly sweet of her to do so. If you feel so inclined please check out the album and her lovely blog!

Alright, I am off to bed early this evening. Election coverage bores me to death and I've caught some sort of nasty cold again. It seems as though I can't get two weeks to recuperate and I'm back to sneezing and coughing up a storm. I should have invested money in Kleenex years ago! I'd be quite rich by now, I'm sure of it.

Have a lovely day!
God Bless,
KJA

I'm the same way! I have never preferred one decade in fashion,or even one style set for that matter. I just wear what I like. It's more fun that way!
