Here's what I've done so far today: Went to the bank, went grocery shopping, got gas, took out all of our garbage/recycling, did three loads of laundry, washed two loads of dishes, baked 8 mini loaves and a cake of banana bread, cleaned off our table, took blog pics...whew! Here's what I still have left to do: Go to the store again because I forgot potatoes, peel said potatoes, make meatballs, fold three loads of laundry, watch Ellen, vacuum, make supper.
It is amazing the amount of things one can do in a day off if you just keep going like the energizer bunny! I'm quite proud of my usually lazy self. Now let's hope I can keep this up! I know husband wouldn't mind that, haha.
ps: I know what you're going to ask and NO I am never taking this hat off. It's official. If you've seen Matilda you know that sometimes the fibers of the hat fuse to the head. It's irremovable. End of story
:)
Hope you're having a lovely Friday! I know I'm enjoying the lovely cool day in my cozy sweater that I stole ages ago from the husband. He's probably never getting it back :)
God Bless!

Psalm 146:3-5
Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

That does sound like a very productive day! I'm quite jealous!!
Love the red sweater you stole from the hubby! Cute!
Holy smokes, that's one heck of a productive day! I am never that productive on my days off; the most I can manage is a thrift store or three.
Love this outfit on you. You look wonderful in red and if there is any hat to have fuse to your head, that's the one!
Congrats on all your accomplishments today! :)
And that hat really does look like it belongs with you!!!

You were super productive - I'm definitely jealous; I feel like my list is never ending! I love that Ellen was on your list of things you needed to do - so true.
Also, that sweater looks like it is the coziest thing ever! Love the red paired with the polka dots. :)
I love Matilda! My favorite books growing up. :)

I'm sure husband won't mind anything as long as there's food. ;) hahaha, I kid! But wow, you really have been busy! Baking and cleaning and doing all sorts of thing! I actually had my class cancelled today and had the day off as well... but all I did was go to Starbucks and lunch with a friend and talk for 4 hours. WORTH IT. 8D
This is seriously such a cute outfit! I love that sweater... it's such a pretty color on you and looks so cozy! And those tights are super lovely as well. :)
I love your tights and polka dots! Super cute! And I wish I could steal my hubbys sweaters but there's 2 problems with that. 1- he refuses to wear sweaters and 2- he's 6'4" so anything of his will DROWN me.
You sound like you've been super busy! Wish I could get myself to be so productive :) haha

Yes, I know what you mean! I have that exact same hat and it might as well be fused onto my head at this point as I wear it ALL the time! These photos are just gorgeous Katie and so are you! Cheers for a super productive day - I always feel so accomplished after one of those. Happy weekend! xoxo Marisa
Love your hat and sweater!
Kisses, Lucy:)
I love the polka dots peeking out below your comfy sweater like that!
