Outfit: Vintage Collared Sweater

I never thought that baby blue and hunter green would be a good color combination. Oftentimes I choose one item that I think I want to wear (this skirt) and walk in front of my closet holding it up to everything until I find something I like. Anyone else do this? I used to plan my outfits at night, but I'd wake up the next morning and not be in the same mood so I would have to change my idea anyway.
This silk skirt and sweater are two of my favorite pieces, I just have never paired them together before! I got the skirt at a rummage sale along with it's matching blouse. The sweater is from JC Penny's sometime in the 1950's :)

I am headed to my school tomorrow to prep everything for students coming on Monday. I hope some of my organizational skills were honed last year and that I can be better at my job this year :/ but we will just have to wait and see.

God Bless,
KJA

I find outfits that way too sometimes! This is such an unexpected but lovely and- lush- color combo.

Also, random, but can I tell you again how much I like your shorter hair :)

I do the same sort of thing! I pick out one item I want to wear (sometimes it's even a bracelet or something) and then stand there for awhile pairing things together with it. Eventually, the outfit forms together! I do like the light blue and the hunter green together- it's not a combo you'd think of too often, but it definitely works!

What great basic pieces! It's amazing how all these simple basics put together look fabulously classy. Good choice!

Haha, I change my mind about outfits all the time, too. Seriously, I can't plan ahead unless I know I HAVE to wear a certain garment! But I need to get better about that...
You look so pretty here! It's weird to see you with shorter hair, but it looks SO nice. I think it's really flattering and it makes you look... lighter? I don't know. I love it! And your earrings! Love!
