Outfit: 1940's Inspired Jacket

I am so loving the cooler summer we've been having. I love to wear some sort of a jacket with every outfit, so the 70 degree temps truly have been my friend. I got this jacket as part of a suit when I was about 14 from JC Penny. It is where I used to buy all of my suits/nice clothes for debate and oral interp competitions. This suit was quite 1940's inspired, but I didn't know it really at the time. I am so glad I held onto it because I still adore this little jacket! Paired with a nice gibson roll/pompadour hairstyle and some espadrilles I felt positively ready for a day spent having a date with one of my best friends.

God Bless!

I love your jacket! You're right it does look very 1940's. I didn't know that you did debate! I'm in speech and debate, and I love making my suits a little bit more feminine because it really makes you stand out a little bit more. Maybe I will try the hairstyle you are wearing here. I loooovvvee your blouse, the sleeves have such darling details!

You are too cute for words! I love your hair (jealous) of how you style it... wish I had those skills. Love the whole outfit.... it's so you!

You had great fashion sense at 14 for picking out that jacket! Also Im so envious of your hair! I wish I was better at vintage styles. How much practice did it take to perfect all your styles? t seems you do it with such ease.
