50th Anniversary of Doctor Who

So, these pictures have taken me forever to post, but I wanted to share them anyway! A few weeks ago was the 50th anniversary special of little show called Doctor Who. Because it was such a special event the show came to theatres for one night only! In fact, in my city it sold out so quickly (we got tickets weeks in advance) they had to add a second showing. I guess there are some Whovians in South Dakota! At any rate I knew I wanted to dress the part as soon as I saw this darling Tardis dress on sale at Her Universe. I had to have it! It didn't show up until the evening of the movie so I was very worried it wouldn't get there on time. But Sean had it laying out for me when I got home from work! I quickly threw on a bow tie, collared shirt, and sonic screwdriver and we were out the door. I wish I would have taken some pictures of other people who dressed up as different characters. There were a couple of Tom Baker's, and some Daleks, and even a couple of fez wearers!
The show was absolutely wonderful and  hilarious. I told Sean I would love to watch every episode in theatres!

Sorry if I bored those of you who know nothing about Doctor Who :) My geeky side is showing!
Have a wonderful day!

God Bless,
KJA

Bahahah~! Oh my gosh, KATIE! Okay, so I've never actually watched Dr. Who, but I've been around enough people who have to get the tardis reference (did I spell it right??). This is seriously so great. I love that you're expressing your nerdy fandom. I've totaly got to do that more on my blog. Say, have you ever watched Sherlock? You gotta let me know if you do so we can fangirl over it together. :)

Stay warm and have a great weekend!!!

PS) If you write down your dreams and send them to me, I would totally draw them! That actually sounds like something rad. Aren't dreams just the coolest? I'm glad someone else out there remembers them and is interested in them like I am. :)
