Outfit: Fourth of July

Here is what I wore last Friday for the Fourth. Sean and I were those people that went out to grocery shop (what a bad idea) on the holiday and it was hilarious to see everyone wearing their most patriotic attire. I don't think I saw any other colors than red, white, and blue in the store :)

We had such a great day. We spent the evening just the two of us around a bonfire and then drove to a nearby lake to watch the locals shoot off fireworks. It was laid back and wonderful.

I found these shades when I was cleaning out my old room at my parents' house and they felt so nostalgic! These were probably bought sometime about 15 years ago and I kind of love them again. This is why I am a clothes hoarder because I always come full circle and end up wearing all of my old things again eventually. Do you do that too, or is it just little ol' me?

It's pictures like this that make me never want to cut my hair ever again.

Hair Tutorial: Front Victory Rolls

Casual Uniform

Hullo friends, just popping in to say a quick hello amidst my week of spending time with my three best gals. I get to have the three ladies who were jr. bridesmaids and flower girl at my wedding here for a visit this week so I will be spending as much time with them as possible trying to soak up all the activities that we can in three days.
This is an outfit I wore last week to run around town, a button down and loafers is pretty much my casual uniform as of late. And of course some lipstick and a swirly hairdo.

Friday Remix: Paisely Dress

It's another Friday remix for you today! I have another little summery dress that I apparently have only worn with stacks of layers, haha. I need to bring some of my little dresses out in the sun this summer! This is just a comfy printed dress I got at Target a couple of years ago, and I usually wear it with tights as it is a bit short. The pattern almost looks like polka dots, but it is actually a paisley type pattern and it is just simple enough to be somewhat of a blank canvas for cardigans, belts, and print mixing.

All-Star

It has been kind of rainy and dreary here again, so it was trench coat time. I stole my husband's converse sneakers (we actually have the same size feet) and I was ready to go. I suppose my next purchase will have to be a pair of converse for myself as Sean's are kind of formed to his feet and not mine. Plus, how can we ever wear matching sneakers unless I get my own pair, duh.
