Vintage Leopard Print Slouch Hat
Hello, hello!
Life is a funny thing, cats. There are so many things one wants to do and not nearly enough discernment (or time for that matter) to decide which 'thing' to devote one's time to. I've been forcing myself to stay away from the computer and spend more time doing art, singing, working on my 5k time, dreaming about learning how to finally sew (my next big goal)... If I could only pick one thing and make that thing my thing and I'd be stellar at it, but instead I am mediocre at each because I can't decide which I like best :)
Anyone else feel the same way?
Anyway, red swing trousers, grandma's sweater, and a hat which you can purchase here in my shop were what I wore to church the other day. One of my favorites! The hat is in remarkably perfect condition and stayed on all day without requiring pins! What a gem.
Have a great week darlings!
God Bless,
KJA

“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.

Goodness, yes, do I get that feeling to no end. I wouldn't say that I feel like I'm being mediocre at my passions or career (humbly), but rather that they couple of biggies (my blog and Etsy shop) take up so much of my time and energy (which I'm not bemoaning; I'm very grateful for both) that I so rarely seem to have time/energy for much else aside from the basics of life (eating, sleeping, taking care of the house, interacting with my dear husband, etc). I'm a massive natural born workaholic so even taking something as a single day off to focus just on me/my hobbies, is oddly challenging for me. I'm trying to work on it, but it seems that almost makes me (career) work all the more because my mind floods with thoughts of the back load I may return to if I take a day or two off. Yikes!!! I'm not saying that's all that healthy or right, but for now it's my world and I do love it, but fully realize I have to push myself to take at least the occasional day off more often (wish me luck!).
ReplyDeleteOn a more upbeat note, I love this outfit! Those are some of the nicest wide legged trousers I've seen in ages. They look fantastic on you, dear gal!
Happy start of spring!

Those pants look fabulous! One question: are they itchy? I thought I had read somewhere that Vivien Of Holloway trousers weren't lined and were somewhat itchy. What do you think?
