1950's Straw Hat and Yellow Dress

Hello dear ones! I believe I am having a better week than last, which calls for this post with a sunny yellow dress. It hasn't been very sunny this week, which I love. I would rather wear my yellow than have it piercing my little eyeballs. Plus when you're outside playing tag on the playground for hours at your job a cloudy day makes it so much more bearable (full disclosure this is certainly NOT what I wear to work with kiddos :) ).
I dearly love the 1930's and 40's, however I have so many 1950's hats which have yet to see the light of day. I loved this perfect little straw number, it has such beautiful construction and a silk chiffon ribbon around the top! It truly made me feel so happy all day to wear it. I even put it up for sale in my shop here if you'd like to try it out for yourself! I would love to spread the joy around a bit :) .

I hope you are enjoying your week! It's halfway over so those of us working M-F are breathing a sigh of relief.

God Bless,
KJA

  3. That hat!!! That dress!!! Oh my stars, they're both magnificent and oh-so-pretty. I love yellow and black (and/or grey) together. It's a bold, memorable and unexpectedly chic combo and one that you're rocking so beautifully here, dear gal.

Big hugs & tons of thanks for your great comment on today's post about paper dolls,
