Happy Monday everyone! Did you all have a great weekend? I sure did! Sean, my sister Jenifer, and I went to visit some friends in Minneapolis and attended a Needtobreathe concert. The concert was INCREDIBLE and if you have not heard their music I recommend you cease reading this and look them up immediately! The weekend was filled with great music, jam sessions, walks in the park, ice cream, late night conversations, Dr. Who, great food, vintage shopping, meeting new friends, Settlers of Catan....pretty much everything that makes me happy all rolled into a couple of days.
On this particular day we tried out a delicious Italian restaurant called Pizza Luce where we drank root beer and lemonade, and I tried out this phenomenal pizza that was topped with blue cheese, asparagus, bacon, and sun dried tomatoes. Probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. We then spent a few hours driving around to vintage shops in the area and while I didn't find much to buy I did have a great time looking at all of the gorgeous vintage dresses, suits, and bags.
I wore this vintage dress which got surprisingly more wrinkly as the day went on, so apologies haha. It really is one of my new favorites though for the pretty pattern and nude/blush color. It is ever so comfortable and I'm sure I'll wear it many more times this summer.
From the pizza's description that sounds like maybe Pizza Luce, but I could be wrong - we have lots of italian/pizza places here!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very fun weekend!

ReplyDeleteThat dress is so lovely, especially pairing it with those gorgeous vintage sunglasses! Your weekend sounds like it was so much fun. I always enjoy looking at vintage shops even if I don't actually snag anything myself. http://theredlipchronicles.blogspot.com
