Oh, Hello! I didn't see you there! Maybe that's because I can't see you...anyway I digress. This week's remix is one of my essential wardrobe items, a vintage, red pencil skirt! It is an item I have had for over four years now and it is part of a vintage suit I own. I never imagined it would become such a staple in my wardrobe when I bought the suit at a flea market in college. The color is a nice, dark crimson that pairs well with a range of colors and the length makes it easy to style in varying proportions. Let's just say I'll be keeping this little number around for quite some time!
Have a blessed weekend all you beauties!

We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
That skirt always looks fabulous on you. Red is undoubtedly my colour of choice fr a pencil skirt after black! Kx
ReplyDeleteGreat post. It's the perfect, classic skirt and it looks fabulous on you!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in red! I love classic basics for this reason, too; you can do so much with them, and you do a splendid job of showing this skirt's potential here. Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Jenny
Fabulous looks!!! I was inspired to wear my vintage red a-line (it's sort like a cross between a pencil and an a-line shape) skirt more after seeing you in yours here and am very glad for it, as it really can work as a pseudo neutral and is so much more upbeat and chipper than, say, black or brown.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs & the happiest of weekend wishes,

Love this skirt! I made myself a red pencil skirt a while back and it really hasn't gotten the wear it deserves.. must remedy this.
ReplyDeleteRed is definitely one of my favourite clothes-colours, I count it as a neutral because it somehow magically goes with everything!
Wow. I'm really awed that one single red vintage pencil skirt could bring about a variety of amazing looks. They look so different with every pairing.

Oh my! Never knew a skirt can be worn in so many ways :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorite of these is definitely the skirt paired with the light blue collared sweater and navy/brown accessories. :) I see why this skirt is such a staple!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know how I adore pencil skirts! And you use it in so many different types of looks. Love that!
