Pearls and Bows

Why hello hello today! I am home for a 'snow day' on this Monday, which is actually a 'cold day' as temps are so ridiculously low they didn't want any kiddos out and about. That is just fine with me! I am spending the day snuggling with kitties and catching up on some housework while wearing my fuzzy socks. Not a bad way to spend the day!

I was feeling very feminine, so this little pink blouse and raspberry cardigan seemed like the perfect pairing! I went to a flea market on Saturday and picked up this darling mink bow cardigan clip with a dainty string of pearls connecting the two bows. It is probably my favorite find ever. It is something I have never seen before, and cardigan clips are very difficult to find around my area for some reason. I'm also wearing my very favorite shoes again, and standing by my favorite item in the house-our fabulous 1950's dining table!

Have a happy day everyone, I'm going to go back to snuggling with my little critters!
God Bless,
KJA

  1. This is such a sweet and feminine look, love the shades of pink! It's been ridiculous here too, -46 with the windchill yesterday morning! Hopefully things are on the rise for you as they are for us :)

  2. Cute cardigan clip. I've been wanting to get one of those. And what an awesome table. I like how your outfit kind of matches it.

  3. I love your hair. If only I had the patience to get my hair into that beautiful style! I always like seeing cute ways to style jeans as I seem to find this tricky.

  6. I love this look, the sweater clips are too cute and your hair is perfect! Also, you're much better than me, I've been home for 'cold days' too and I haven't been brave enough to get out of my layers of jammies!

  7. Not jealous about the crazy temps there at all but totally jealous about the day off! It's funny my Dad had -6 wind chill in Alabama the other night where it was 23 degrees here in good old Utah. Usually he's bragging to us about the heat!
I'm loving this girly look! You always have the best hairstyles and those mink clips are just darling!!

  8. I saw that amazing little table on Facebook and was just so HAPPY FOR YOU! It screams Katie, it really does. I especially like the top of it. :)

Snuggling with kitties and wearing snuggly socks sounds like a grand way to spend a day. It's been in the 10's and 20's in the mornings here which is very cold for us (I bet you're like, psh, that's nothing, southern gal) and it's made me resort to nintendo and tea and reading. :)

I love the peter pan collar here and you always look stunning in pink. Stay warm, Katie! <3

  9. I love your pin-up hair style and the retro makeup look! Also, I didn't even know cardigan clips existed, but 1) I need one of those and 2) the fuzziness of these clips are adorable.
