InspirationThursday - Cold Weather Vintage

With winters end nowhere in sight, I thought my inspiration for this week would be a bevy of winter beauties from decades past. Although they are all from various times in history, each one is unique and beautiful. It truly shows why I cannot commit to simply one decade, but love to pull elements from each one.

 1920's
Cloche hats, cute coats, and menswear inspired suits caught my eye.

1930's
Glamorous coats, sweater sets and the color green were all the rage.

1940's
Stunning hats, fur, and lipstick were winter wear in the 40's.

 1950's
Elegance, monochromatic looks, and sleek hair was the order of the day.

1960's
Edgy, futuristic looks and bright tweed made the 1960's pop. Not to mention the HATS. Enough said.

1970's
Maxi skirts, wide legged pants, and platforms were in in the 70's

Well, which decade is your favorite? As usual, I can't decide.

Have a fabulous winter day wherever you are!

God Bless,
KJA

Psalm 25:6
Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
