Scalloped

Why hello there! Are you all having a splendid week? I feel as though the beginning of my weeks are always unproductive and tend to pick up towards the end of the week, which only leads to weekend syndrome by the time Friday hits...so really Wednesdays and Thursdays are IT people. That's when I'm on my game. I sure hope I can curb that with my job starting up again next week! I will have one week of training before school starts on August 19 for the kiddos. When does school start for your area? I feel like Aug. 19 is so very early in the summer to be starting.

I wore this little ditty to a pampered chef  party with some of my friends! It was so much fun, I don't think I've attended one since my bridal shower over three years ago. I always find some new kitchen gadget that I want, and we always make great food too. These girls had made some mini lemonade strawberry tarts that were divine! I'm still wanting the recipe for those... :)

I decided to pair up a couple of items from my shop to take for a spin! The dark red leather of this Valentina bag and blue/green of the Japanese silk scarf really caught my eye together.

And a cute little ponytail was in order, I'll have a tutorial up soon if anyone is interested! It's not really innovative, but it's simple and cool for those warm days yet to come :)

I never know what to do with belts that are too long (I rarely have this problem, usually they are too short!), so I just wrapped this one around the middle several times and that did the trick!

Happy Wednesday!
God Bless,
KJA

  1. Super cute! I like the aqua/mint belt against the blue of the dress! And the scarf does look nice with the bag!

I haven't been to a Pampered Chef party in years, but they always were a lot of fun from what I remember!

  3. Welp, my classes begin on the 20th! So I guess that's not all so early. :) I guess it all depends when you get out, too, because my college usually lets out a bit earlier than most others... which can be totally rad and stuff.
