What I Wore to the Diner

I posted  last week that Sean and I went to our favorite diner one night for supper, but I never put up pics of what I wore! So here you go-what to throw on in a hurry for a trip to a vintage diner. Grape soda optional. Black and white oxfords, not optional. Those are a must.  Mint green never hurt either.
:)

Happy Thursday darlings!
God Bless,
KJA

Luke 6:46-49
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

  6. Oh wow, this is one of my favorites from you Katie! The mint cardigan is such a lovely color, and then over that dress and paired with the perfect oxfords? Vintage. Perfection. Hehe, and right now, grape soda sounds reaaaally good!
By the way, I haven't read that verse in so long! Definitely a good reminder that the foundation we build our faith on is extremely important...thanks for posting it!

  10. Aw hehe - so sweet! I'm suddenly feeling the need to go to a retro diner & get a milkshake! The mint cardi, polka dots & oxfords - a gorgeous mash up! I've been hunting our thrift shops left & right lately for basic vintage cardis like this & they are void of them. Must a scout some out soon...

    Happiest Friday Katie!

  12. You look so adorable! I love this outfit for a date night. I need to keep this in the back of my mind when I need to actually use this. Boys are on short supply lately. *sigh*. Oh well! It will happen one day - until then I need to keep scoping out cute date night outfits. :)
