What a long week it has been! Mostly I have been working and baking up a storm! I have a bridal shower to attend tomorrow and I've been working on muffins, cakes, frosting...whew! I am all baked out. Most of all I am up to my ears in dishes that need to be washed. However, I do have a lot of goodies to bring for others to (hopefully) enjoy as a result!
This was a pretty boring week , so I have to spruce things up a bit by wearing clothes that make me happy! These polka dot pants to the trick. They are super soft and have pockets and a stretchy waist and they are just perfect.
I found this vintage beaded bag at an antique store several years ago! It may be the very first vintage item I ever bought. I'm pretty smitten with it :)
Sean and I have a full weekend planned ahead of us, I'm pretty excited! Have a wonderful weekend all :)
God Bless!

Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

hehe, your week does sound like it was long (but at least the baking means lots of batter to eat in the process! yup, that's what makes it alllll better :D). However, I'm glad you're going to be able to recharge and have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteTHOSE PANTS. Those pants are so neat. I love how you pulled the pink polka dots on them out with that necklace, too. So super clever of you, else I would have thought they were another color.
That sounds like a baking marathon. I did one of those a couple weeks back for my sister's bridal shower and I was completely cupcaked out...hehe. You look darling Katie! Those polka dot pants suit you very well. I'm always so nervous to try printed pants out but gosh, they look amazing on you. One of these days I'll have to just go for it :) xo Marisa
ReplyDeleteVery cute pants indeed! Love it.
