Perfect Weather

Today was absolutely beautiful. 70 degrees, sunny, and almost no wind-how wonderful! I was pretty busy all day though, but I also got to take some time to take pictures over my lunch today and I didn't want to go inside! The light was just amazing. Which explains why I have so many pictures today...I just stayed out and kept snapping! Sorry if it is picture overload, I'm hoping I'll love to look back someday at all of the pictures that I had fun taking and editing and who cares what anyone else thinks, right?

Casual morning and a Banquet

I will just post quickly and then it's off to bed! I dressed comfy this morning,and then got to put on one of my favorite vintage dresses for a banquet with my fiance! It was a good day, I felt like I got a lot accomplished-which is rare for me these days!

TIE Conference

I know, I KNOW these pictures are horrible! But I was so tired after the Technology and Innovation in Education Conference today that I just came up to my room and snapped a few photos so I could put on sweats and eat oreos...seriously...I'm bad I know. These heels make me feel fabulous, but I didn't realize how much walking we'd be doing today and so I could probably have made a smarter shoe choice...But oh well! I'm just super tired and worn out from the day-but the presentation went so well! We had about 60+ people in attendance for our session and they were a great group of people! I even had people laughing once or twice! Which made me feel good :) I was nervous to present to teachers, since I am not one yet-but they were so receptive and I didn't even mess up like I expected to! So I was very happy with how it went-all glory to God though because I knew I would need His help-so lots of praying occurred before I spoke! Yay God!

Yes, I am a Teacher.

I felt amazing today. I always wanted to look like Miss Honey from the movie Matilda. She was just beautiful and sweet with her cute little dresses and the locket she wore. I definitely felt like a teacher today-I loved it! I found a picture of Miss Honey for reference!



Speaking of Matilda..I was wondering what Miss Trunchbull actually looked like in really life-because they made her look so ugly for the movie! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw an actual picture of her-she's very pretty! I guess that just shows you what hair and makeup can do!

I am carrying my amazing study Bible as well from my wonderful Fiance :) It is two toned leather-pink and brown! I would have to say this is my favorite Bible because it has wonderful footnotes for dumb people like me :):)

Also I love oreos...I love combining oreos to make super oreos. It makes me happy. Also I have a lot of stupid meal plan money left which is why I bought oreos in the first place-otherwise I never buy junk food! Curse you required college meal plan for making me fat! Poo.....haha!

Late night blogging

Sorry it took me so long to post today! I had a right busy day. I went to the community library with my fiance to find some teaching materials. It was difficult! Usually I walk right in and out but I just couldn't find what I needed today...poo. But it was so fun to see my fiance reading all the little kids books and playing with the kids toys while he waited for me :) Then we went to the park and took pictures because it was gorgeous outside! Some random guy asked if we wanted him to take the pics of us..but I told him that it was ok and we were just having fun taking self-timed pics :) I only put a couple on here but maybe i'll do a post about it later on :) After that we ate some ice cream :) I love being a little kid (or, rather acting like one...) I attempted to do homework for about a half hour but then decided against it...siiigh. Sundays always end up being homework days! Sean and I also played Monopoly with one of our friends tonight and I ended up winning with hotels on Boardwalk and Park Place! It was a good night :D
I have to get to bed super early Sunday night though because waaaay early in the morning on Monday I have an education conference that I am speaking at with a couple of fellow students and 3 professors here at the University. I'm very nervous!

Anywho I was very comfy today and just had a great day.
