So What Can I do to get Closer?

Today was fairly busy. I went to class, made a paper mache egg, ate lunch, taught reader's theatre to 4th graders, taught voice inflection to college students pretending to be 4th graders, and now I must do some reading for my Indian Studies class tonight. Actually to better prepare myself for that class I should probably take a nap so I don't fall asleep, seeing as how I am dead tired right now! *Yawwwn*

I wore a comfy outfit which was appropriate for the classroom today-I love shirts with bows on them-they make me happy :):)
Also-what happened to the nice weather the last couple of days?! It's freezing outside!

Today was lovely. It was sunny and warm and just so gosh darn pretty out! I had to attend a woman's conference today on campus, so I took the opportunity to really dress up. Unfortunately I couldn't get very good pictures though because I wasn't about to traipse up the hill in my way high heels...so I tried to take some by setting it on the hood of my car...sigh. The silver car in the pictures is my fiance's-awwww we're parked next to each other! hahaha. Anyways I drove to campus so I wouldn't have to walk the 5 blocks in heels, but ended up walking enough anyway, so I tore up my feet a little bit-but that's ok! These babies are worth it! I don't know if it was the sun, or the little bit of a breeze that made my dress sway and swish, but I just felt fabulous today! I think heels help me feel much more confident than anything else. I could probably wear a sweatsuit and heels and still feel incredible.

I am off to meet with my friend who is designing our wedding invitations to see what she came up with-I'm pretty excited! And then I really have to crunch on homework because I've been putting it off something terrible!

Yep...Still Windy...

The weather here is just so crazy sometimes! It would be GORGEOUS outside if there wasn't a freezing wind threatening to take off your ears! I woke up late, so I didn't have too much time to get ready this morning, but thankfully I had laid out something semi-descent last night that I just threw on in time to make it to my 8 oclock class. when I got there, he decided to let us go after 5 minutes because the last three people didn't have their presentations prepared-well poo on them! So...that was fun. Now I'm off to marriage counseling with the fiance! Then it's homework time...:P

I haven't done much today other than go to class-but I found out I didn't have to spend my lunch hour writing lesson plans-which made me happy!
I love this billowy scarf with it's pretty cream color and little flowers. It is extremely delicate, however, so I have to be careful not to rip it.

Ok...so that is not how the song goes...but oh well!
Today was kind of a strange day. I got up to go to church-and it was just lovely outside! Sunny and warm :) Then when we got out of church I wanted to go take pictures while it was sunny...but I didn't have anyone willing to take pictures of me or a place to take them...So I did my homework, drove the hour back home, went for a run, showered, and then put my church clothes back on to finally take some pictures! So you get to see me all wet-haired and no makeup-aren't you lucky?! But that's alright-I really wanted to get some pictures of this outfit because it made me so happy to wear it! I love this blue skirt with the roses on it-and it has such a pretty swing and sheen to it! It came as a two piece suit...it has a matching jacket which I cut the shoulder pads out of and will wear with skinny jeans later ;)haha

Tomorrow is back to classes and only two weeks until Easter! Where has the year gone already? Craziness...

You need to say that with an accent. It's the classy Target. This is where mr. hunky fiance and I walked around for three hours today with a fun little scanner gun to work on a wedding registry. We even had to go get a second scanner because we wore the batteries out of the first one! This is why I couldn't justify wearing heels or any other uncomfortable shoes today-I needed my sneakers!! We also ordered flowers today-I decided on lilies and alstroermarias-which kind of resemble tiger lilies. Hooray! That's about all I have today...I'm pooped! The Argus Leader came out today! That means the pictures I took during my photoshoot were out! They turned out ok, I have pictures below :)
I haven't done that much today, I didn't even take pictures outside. After the last couple of days of beautiful weather I couldn't bear to go outside to freeze my butt off snapping shots...so sorry they're so cruddy :)
